Nadanga Nallur walk attracts 300+ Senior Citizens

Diha Clinic successfully conducted the second edition of “Nadanga Nallur” – Senior Citizens Walk today in the early hours of Sunday at Nanganallur, near Independence Day Park. This was part of its ongoing Stay Healthy, Stay Happy initiative. 

 

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 300 senior citizens.

 

The walk was organized in association with the Senior Citizen Forum of Nanganallur and supported by The Federation of Nanganallur Welfare Associations. The initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of regular physical activity, particularly walking, for the health and wellness of senior citizens.

 

Srinivasagopalan Chary, Trustee of Diha Trust, flagged off the event from Diha Clinic premises in Nanganallur. Participants walked through a few streets in Nanganallur, and concluded at the skating rink located on 100 Feet Road, Nanganallur.

 

Registered participants were provided with T-shirts and certificates to recognise participation.

On the occasion, Sampath (President – Sr. Citizen Forum), Chandra Bose (President – Federation of Nanganallur Welfare Associations), Chandran (Alandur Zone Chairman), Ravindran (FNWA) and Kumaravelu (FNWA) graced the occasion.
