Dr Sudha Balasubramanian has been in the field of internal medicine and preventive health care for more than 30 years. She has worked as a consultant physician in several healthcare institutions, including HM Hospital, Osler Diagnostics, Canray Health Alliance Private Limited and now, for the past few years, at Diha Clinic, Nanganallur, Chennai. Dr Sudha obtained her MBBS from Kilpauk Medical College (1991) and received a Diplomate of National Board (General Medicine) in 1999, from Government Royapettah Hospital, Chennai.
She is a life member of the Association of Physicians of India and Indian Medical Association. During her early practice, she had a passion for teaching undergraduate students, interns and junior PGS. Later, she became passionate about community interaction to increase awareness about health care.
She has many publications to her credit including in International Journal of Health Sciences, Journal of Clinical Medical Research and Rambam Maimonides Med Journal.
