Dr. Vishnu Shankar has been in the field of Internal Medicine and Diabetology for 10 years. He obtained his MBBS from Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute, Chengalpattu (2015), and MD (Internal Medicine) from Saveetha Medical College and Hospital, Chennai. He also has a Fellowship in Diabetology (CCEBDM). Previously he consulted at Hindu Mission Hospital and Saveetha Hospital and now at Diha Clinic, Nanganallur.
He has worked as clinical lead in collaboration with World Health Organisation (WHO) for developing protocol for frequency of testing of HBA1C and level of Hba1c to be maintained worldwide for Type 1 diabetes mellitus.
Dr. Vishnu Shankar worked as Assistant Professor in a Medical College for MD internal medicine.
He has plenty of experience dealing with general health issues and diabetes.
